Dr. Barth is The Medical Director of Grace Valley Medical Center, a 24 bedded multispecialist private hospital founded in July 2015,located on 62 Ago Palace Way,Okota, Lagos. Dr. Barth Toochukwu Ufoegbunam obtained his medical degree (MBCh.B) at the prestigious Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Osun state, Nigeria. He undertook his internship at Federal Medical Centre, Owerri where he won the Best House Officer award in three different departments of Medicine in 2006/2007. Dr.Barth delved into private medical practise/ medical tourism where he gathered a vast experience over the years in general medical practise. He worked in a number of hospitals as a medical officer/senior medical officer over the last ten years,notably; Costain West Africa Clinic, Goodseed Specialist Clinic Ajao Estate, Olaniba Memorial Hospital, Surulere and Faithcity Hospital, Ajao Estate, Lagos where he won the very first MD’s Special award in the establishment . With over over 12 years of clinical experience in general practice / hospital management, Dr Barth then founded Grace Valley Medical Centre in Okota in July 2015. Dr. Barth is currently the Medical Director and Consulting GP at Grace Valley Medical Center where he oversees the day to day running and coordination of a team of Medical Consultants and other health professionals in the organisation. Dr. Barth Ufoegbunam is an active member of the Association of General and Private Medical Practitioners of Nigeria (AGPMPN). He has handled different leadership positions including: Immediate past Vice Chairman, Secretary and current Welfare Secretary of AGPMPN,Mushin chapter. He is also a dedicated member of Rotary Club of Ikeja South. A two time secretary Rotary club of Ikeja South and Current Pacesetter Treasurer . He is currently a Rotary Health Ambassador, District 9110 (Rotarians for Family Health and AIDS Prevention). Member and Participant at Rotary International Leadership Institute 2016/2017. Dr. Barth is happily married with three children and currently a guest presenter of the famous TV Health Programme "Health Matta" on WAPTV.
